SEAFIRE is the Gold Coast’s annual fireworks competition on Surfers Paradise Beach, which sees esteemed fireworks teams from all over the world battle it out with their most impressive fireworks on the Gold Coast’s famous seaside destination. This year is all set to be louder and better than ever with the reigning champions of SeaFire 2017 returning to defend their title with everything they’ve got. There’s no better way to get warmed up this winter!

Set on the famous Surfers Paradise Beach, SeaFire enjoys one of the best locations on the Gold Coast for world-class fireworks. This year’s event will see an exciting afternoon show kick off the action with a Navy helicopter, live music performances, market stalls, kids’ activities, fire performers, and an unmissable jet-ski stunt show. When the sun goes down the evening of fireworks will begin, featuring a number of international teams going head-to-head to become the new 2018 champions. The teams will take their places on barges on the water, and will set off their fireworks in aim to get the biggest response from the crowd! After the competition takes place, don’t miss an incredible final fireworks display by Australia’s own fireworks team Skylighter FireworX.
