The Pan Pacific Masters Games has undergone several name changes and changes in location ever since its inaugural event in 1985. Its official location is now on the Queensland Gold Coast, where pristine beaches, cafe-lined esplanades, and world-class venues provide the perfect location for ten days of nonstop competitive sport. Anyone is welcome to take part in the games, with the only criterion being an age limit for each event! The sports take place in multiple venues and locations on the Gold Coast, such as the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre, Coomera Indoor Sports Centre, Runaway Bay Sports Super Centre, Home of the Arts, and Gold Coast Convention Centre as well as Mermaid Beach and Kurrawa Beach.
