2020 starts in full swing on the Gold Coast with Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival - the premier summer horse racing carnival in Australia!

Comprised of world-famous events such as Gold Coast Yearling Sale and Magic Millions Raceday, this huge annual horse racing carnival and auction is a big deal for racegoers and punters, held for twelve action-packed days with plenty to get involved in.

Aquis Raceday

Starting January 4, Magic Millions Summer Carnival 2020 kicks off the racing with Aquis Raceday at Gold Coast Turf Club. To supplement Magic Millions Raceday on the weekend after, this horse racing series will host an exclusive mixture of races for Magic Millions early birds, including 2YO and 3YO Guineas, Aquis Gold Nugget, Aquis Gold Pearl and more.

If you’re into polo, Magic Millions Polo will take place the day after Aquis Raceday on January 5, sponsored once again by Pacific Fair and featuring a full day of live polo in Doug Jennings Park. General admission and pavilion seating is available, where each polo game will be complemented by live music, high-quality food vendors and marquee bars.

Yearling Sale

Gold Coast Yearling Sale is a big auction held during each Magic Millions Carnival, and this summer, over 1000 vendors have been booked with three sale lots across a week-long period. This will commence at Gold Coast Turf Club from January 8 - not to be missed if you’re looking to see the prospective Raceday thoroughbreds or take part in the bidding.

Magic Millions Raceday

The yearly highlight of the carnival is Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday at Aquis Park. This internationally broadcasted event comprises of nine races worth over $10 million, including the iconic 2YO Classic, Magic Millions Cup, Magic Millions Snippets and more. It’s the ultimate day at the races for summer 2020 - if you’re a racetrack regular, don’t miss it on Saturday, January 11.
