Ruddigore, or the Witch’s Curse is brought to life on stage this winter with the critically-acclaimed production by Lindy Hume.

Ruddigore, or the Witch’s Curse is an acclaimed comic opera written by Arthur Sullivan and W. S. Gilbert, which first debuted in London in 1887. Following a small town in which a witch’s curse torments all Baronets of Ruddigore to commit a daily crime in order to live, the seemingly normal Robin Oakapple finally asks the beautiful Rose Maybud to marry him. What she doesn’t know is Robin Oakapple harbours a dark secret: he is in fact the heir to Baronet of Ruddigore! What ensues is a whirlwind marriage, unspeakable crimes, and a zealous attempt to break the wicked curse of Ruddigore.

Featuring memorable characters and a tempestuous plot, Ruddigore, or the Witch’s Curse is a stage production for all the ages, and features captivating musical numbers that will have you enthralled from beginning to end.
